JINGLE ALL THE WAY: It’s a turbo time
It’s crystal clear that not only is this film a way of entertaining, but also a comedy. For this last reason,it’s fair to point out that while there’s some genuine laughs and warm sentimentality to be had,it is vital to take into account that Brian Levant’s Jingle All the Way represents everything that’s bad with Christmas today concerning of consumerism.
….Always keep your promise if you want to keep your friends.

THE MONEY PIT : Home sweet home!
It is often said that buying a house is the most transcendental decision which we will take during our life. It’s needless to say that you usually take this relevant decision with all your dreams and goals completely intact. In that moment your’re fully delighted, but it’s fair to point out that not all that glitters is gold when you start to live in your new home, about situation Walter and Anna have a master due to their chaotic experience story in ‘The money Pit’.
The Money Pit is an American comedy film.It was directed by Richard Benjamin in 1986.It’s crystal clear that its strong point is the well-known actor,Tom Hanks, although the role of Shelley Long is absolutely great. As a curiosity, the film was criticized due to the fact it is closely parallels of a Cary Grant film,it is called ‘Mr.Blandings builds his dream house’,it is true that there are some similarities. Finally,I’d rather comment that it was a Tv project in order to create a sitcom based on the film, however finally it was later put on hold.
Walter Fielding (Tom Hanks) and Anna Crowley (Shelley Long) are a pretty couple and they work in the music’s world, who live in a rented aparment. One day, they have to leave this fat because its owner,Anna’s ex-husband,Max (Alexader Gobunov) must come back to it.The couple finds a huge mansion in a lavish neighbourhood of Long Island but they attent to renovate it.However, the purchased house is a complete dissaster….the electricity doesn’t work, the chimney is broken, the tubs in the bathroom are collapsed, the plumbing is full of gunk, the fromt dood rips out of the wall…among other problems. The lovely couple tries to be blissful with this situation, although apart from these matters and a possible affair between Anna and Max make this situation almost untenable.
There is a thing that made ‘The money pit’ a particular occasion writing this review,it was that it brought back memories of my childhood experiences.I remembered my own excitement when the first time I watched this film with my mum, after that it was a must watching every year.Besides,it is true that I mentioned something about Tom Hanks in previous rewiews, but he is always on my mind when I talk over my 80s/90s favourite movies.

CHARIOTS OF FIRE : If I can’t run,I won’t run!
Nowadays,Tokio 2020 Olimpic Games are showing the greatest athletes. For me when this competition is coming,I looking forward to seeing the running time.Ten years ago (give or take),I started to go running and It's fair to point out that now it is my passion.Running,I have spent and spend amazing situations and unforgettable feelings with this pastime and with my partners runners (especially with my best friend Ivan). For that reason,I love this discipline sport and what’s more it is so great that it is doesn’t matter your age, your speed, your beliefs or your social position because all of runners have the same possibilities to win.Chariots of fire is a clear and absolute example of this wonderful sport without a doubt whatsoever.
Chariots of Fire is a British drama film.It was directed by Hugh Hudson,Ben Cross and Ian Charleson in 1981.This historical film is based on a real story and its title is adapted into a William Blake’s poem that there is a famous line ‘Bring me my Chariot of fire’.Regard its recognition,it was nominated for seven Academy awards, getting four of them, but its most relevant and well known point is its electronic theme tune by Vangelis,in my view it is an authentic jewel.
Paris 1924 Olimpic Games, the glory is waiting for other athletes, but the way of the success wouldn’t be a pice of cake.5 years before,Harold Abrahams (Ben Cross) studies at the Cambridge University, there, despite he goes through negative experience due to the fact he is jaw,he loves this place and enjoys running competitions at the university.Eric Liddle (Ian Charlesson) is a Chinese missionary and famous runner who is looking for his competitive pursue in order to glorifying God.After years of hard training, they are selected to represent Great Britain to France for the Olympics. Both, with radical life experiences, but with the same goal, getting the gold medal….in their honour.
The performances and the script are no doubt the tip of the iceberg, but I’d highly recommend this movie for its priceless life lesson : our perseverance is the maker of change and the greatest of our lives equates to our faith in ourselves and our dreams….
They will sacrifice anything to achieve their goals…except their honor.

FIRST BLOOD : John Rambo
As far as I’m concerned,I love this film....it’s crystal clear that First Blood and Sylvester Stallone have hard critics and negative reviews, but it’s fair to point out that they are on tip of the iceberg of our cinema memories. In my case, both are absolutely unforgettable and they make the most relevant aim of making a film, have a nice moment and entertain the watching audience, without a doubt whatsoever.
This action film was directed by Ted Kotcheff in 1982.Yet,I must make clear that not only was the main character Sylvester Stallone, but also co-writter this movie. The facts speak for themselves with this film, despite its mixed criticisms, this film achieved an enourmous success,in its box office and a record of tickets sold in China.First Blood was based on a novel of the same name by David Morrell, ten years before. This film has been, until now, five sequels (all of which were co-written by and starred Stallone) with little success.A huge variety of comics, videogames and animated series are another relevant point.
Seven years later Vietnam War,John Rambo an ex-war comrade of this war, spent a difficult situation after knowing his friend goes through cancer and he is not adapted to a real life.Rambo ends up into a small town in Washington. There,he wanders around this village, but the town’s Sheriff Will Teasle (Brian Dennehy) believes that the best place for Rambo is inside the jail.Yet,He runs away to the forest and he tries to survive out of the civilization. The state police calls to Coronal Trautman,Rambo’s mentor and former commanding officer,in order to help them to capture the Wietnam warrior and he confirms that Rambo is an expert at guerrilla warfare and survival, besides he received the Medal of Honor and he never gives up.
All in all,I highly recommend this great action film - amazingly acted, written and directed, stands the test of the time and it is unanimously deemed a brilliant movie for Sylvester Stallone lovers.
......This time he’s fighting for his life.
