BAREFOOT IN THE PARK : Pretty and great couple






Do you consider to start a domestic partnership is easy? It's a well known fact that this is a relevant step  along with getting married or having kids.The key of this point is to get a balance between respect,love and in some situations,why not to say.....a little patience.So,when Paul (Robert Redford and Corie (Jane Fonda) decide to live together in their hummel apartment,they realize that not all that glitters was gold regarding to a domestic partnership.

Barefoot in the park is an American comedy and romantic film.It was in 1967 based in play with the same name and created by Neil Simon.The absolutely strenght of this film is its main and really famous characters Robert Redford and Jame Fonda,however,Mildred Natwick,who plays the role of the bride's mother,was the only one character who was nominated for the Oscar for best supporting actress.This film was directed by Gene Saks and written by Neil Simon.It's fair to point out that the previous performance in Broadway had a hugh success.

Corie (Jane Fonda) and Paul (Robert Redford) are a couple who get married recently.Corie is a cheerful and dreamy,in contrary,Paul is totally different,he is conservative and serious.They decide to rent a flat in Greenwich Village.The apartment is really peculiar,not only is it located into a fifth floor as a consequence a neighbour,Victor Velasco (Charles Boyer) lives in the attic of the building, and climbs through the couple's apartment window to get to his flat,but it also overcrowded flat where Ethel Banks (Mildred Natwick) is a daily visitor.So,The couple goes through plenty of issues to achieve its expected and desired joyous love life.

To conclude,Paul and Corie reflect the typical domestic issues in our current society through the eyes of the innocent young couple,who awakens nothing but sympathy.The viewers go through the eyes of the couple's fate much like the couple themselves.The director manages to describe this chaotic atmosphere with humour,which a riveting plot that attracts the viewer's attention until the very end.
