SECRET ADMIRER : A love letter

Are current teenagers movies only for themselves? There is not doubt that these films never go out fashion.It is a well-known fact that this type of movies are following from teenagers,however, when these teens become adults keep watching them,despite of the lack of complex plot,we love them!.Nowadays,there a plenty of these films,although from my point of view in the past we could get the greatest like 'The outsiders' or 'The breakfast club',but my favourite is 'Secret Admirer'

This teen romantic comedy film was directed by David Greenwalt in 1985,among its main characters we can watch some famous young actors that later they become in the spotlight,like C.Thomas Howell (Michael),Lori Loughlin (Toni) and Kelly Preston (Debi,John Travolta's real wife).Its unforgettable soundtrack was arranged by Jan Hammer.In 2016,an independent film,'Paper cups' from Puerto Rican,were critiqued on account of to be an almost-exact copy of Secret Admirer.

This entertaining film starts when Toni writes a love letter for Mike,but she doesn't want to Mike knows that it is hers.So,this letter which passed between parents and friends,from one hand to another,and all of them think that they have a lover,which results a plenty of funny misunderstandings.This tangle situation is caused because Toni is not capable to say that she falls in love with Michael,given that he totally falls in love with his best friend,Debi.

What I really loved about the film is how the original plot is shown.I wanted to know what was going to happen to Michael and Toni.Although some parts of the film are a little predictable,I find it entertaining and haunting.
