FIRST BLOOD : John Rambo

As far as I’m concerned,I love this film....it’s crystal clear that First Blood and Sylvester Stallone have hard critics and negative reviews, but it’s fair to point out that they are on tip of the iceberg of our cinema memories. In my case, both are absolutely unforgettable and they make the most relevant aim of making a film, have a nice moment and entertain the watching audience, without a doubt whatsoever.

This action film was directed by Ted Kotcheff in 1982.Yet,I must make clear that not only was the main character Sylvester Stallone, but also co-writter this movie. The facts speak for themselves with this film, despite its mixed criticisms, this film achieved an enourmous success,in its box office and a record of tickets sold in China.First Blood was based on a novel of the same name by David Morrell, ten years before. This film has been, until now, five sequels (all of which were co-written by and starred Stallone) with little success.A huge variety of comics, videogames and animated series are another relevant point.

Seven years later Vietnam War,John Rambo an ex-war comrade of this war, spent a difficult situation after knowing his friend goes through cancer and he is not adapted to a real life.Rambo ends up into a small town in Washington. There,he wanders around this village, but the town’s Sheriff Will Teasle (Brian Dennehy) believes that the best place for Rambo is inside the jail.Yet,He runs away to the forest and he tries to survive out of the civilization. The state police calls to Coronal Trautman,Rambo’s mentor and former commanding officer,in order to help them to capture the Wietnam warrior and he confirms that Rambo is an expert at guerrilla warfare and survival, besides he received the Medal of Honor and he never gives up.

All in all,I highly recommend this great action film - amazingly acted, written and directed, stands the test of the time and it is unanimously deemed a brilliant movie for Sylvester Stallone lovers.

......This time he’s fighting for his life.

COMING TO AMERICA : The prince of Zamunda

Have you ever thought to live as a prince? Apparently, living in a big city brings us a plenty of opportunities and meeting new people. In fact,in some situations, the small and wealthy places could be less free, like Zamunda.Eddie Murphy is considered one of the best comedy actor in the large screen.Murphy,in his huge career, played roles as a a detective, professor, doctor or even a donkey’s voice in Shrek, however,it is fair tompoint out that becoming a prince of Zamunda is the tip of the iceberg.

Coming to America is an American comedy film.It is creatively directed by John Landis in 1988.This great film has several curiosities, the first one it is based on a story created by Eddie Murphy.Further to this,Zamunda is a fictional African Nation.Last but not least,Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall play several roles each of them during the film,James Earl Jones,Shari Headley and John Amos complet the lead cast. Finally, yet importantly,Its sequel,Coming 2 America, was recently released on Amazon Prime.

To star with,Akeem Joffer (Eddie Murphy) celebrates his 21st birthday in the wealthy African nation of ZamundaAs a main present, the crown prince should get married with a an arranged bride-to-be.Yet,to Akeem’s view,it is not natural and he decides to take action.Akeen and his best friend Semmi (Arsenio Hall) travels to New York in order to get a true love. There,in Queens, the crown prince meets an elderly group in barbershop where through of of them, the prince meets Lisa McDonald’s (Shari Headley) who ends up being his real love....although his parents King Jaffe (James Earl Jones) and Queen Aoleon (Magle Sinclair) are totally disappointed with this option and they must celebrate a loyal weeding with Imana Izzi (mayor Coronel’s daughter).

All in all,it’s fair to point out that some of the more carping critics have slated Eddie Murphy as a great actor,it remains true that few comedians offer such variety of entertaining as Eddie Murphy and his versatility. For its funny screenplay, cast and sheer attention to detail.I highly recommend this great movie

.....To this Majesty King Joffer, the Royal Place,Zamunda.

ADVENTURES IN BABYSITTING : An unpredictable evening

Honestly, taking care children could be a fun situation. In my case, when I usually look after my nephew, this journey is unforgettable.Yet,in some situations, this task could become an unpredictable evening,Adventures in Babysitting is a clear example.Furthermore, the main character is Elisabeth Sue,in my view, she is an amazing and pretty actress. What’s more, someone who was the fictional girlfriend of Johnny Lawrence,Marty McFly,Tom Cruise or Daniel LaRusso just I could say that she is absolutely marvelous.

Adventures in Babysitting is an Amerian teen comedy film.It was directed by Chris Columbus and written David Simkins in 1987.In some countries is also known as a title A Night on the Town.In 2016,on Disney,a remake with the same title was released. As a comment before,it goes without saying that Elisabeth Sue is its strong point.

Thereafter receiving her anniversary cancellation date with her boyfriend,Chris Parker (Elisabeth Sue) accepts a work as a babysitter in Andersons’.This new plan is supposed to be quiet and so boring. However,Chris receives a frantic phone call from her best friend (Brenda) who is so nervous, afraid and alone in the city center. At that moment,Chris decides to pick her up with Andersons’ children,Sarah (who falls in love the superhero Thor and Brad, and Brad’s friend,Daryl.Over the course of this trial time evening, they travel in the adulterer’s Cadillac, they are robbed, they suffer a kidnapping, meet Thor.....Yet,the question is,are they getting on time up until Andersons come back home?

Adventures in Babysitting won’t be a memorable, timeless comedy for ages. But it was very worth watching and made for great, sweet popcorn enjoyment. Not only making necessary use of humongous distribution platform, but certainly reinforcing the Elisabeth Sue status as a 80s movie heavyweight within the community.

...Don’t fuck with the babysitter!

WATCH OUT,WE'RE MAD! : The trinity boys

Who finds a friend, finds a treasure. It is worth highlighting in this sentence,in some situations our best friend is not our best half due to the fact he is totally different to us but he can’t avoid to spending our free time with us.On Watch out,we’re mad Bud Spencer and Terence Hill show us a forgettable friendship which is unshakable.

This Italian comedy was directed by Marcello Fondato in 1974.This vintage movie was an international co-production between Italy and Spain.Undoubtedly, its strong point is the famous and comedy team of Terence Hill and Bud Spencer. This unforgettable couple plays in a plenty of films funny such as ‘The call me Trinity’ (1970),’Crime busters’ (1977) or their last one ‘Troublemaker’ (1994) along others. As a final curiosity,in this film,we can watch the mythical football stadium ‘Vicente Calderon’ in several scenes.

Ben (Bud Spencer) is a burly mechanic that he is absolutely sure to achieve the fabulously red Pumadune buggy with a yellow top in the next rallycross race due  to he is the best one.Yet,not all that glitters is gold for him,The ‘Kid’,Hill (Terence Hill) has the same goal. The competition is really equal and end up at he same time to the finish line. They receive both the same buggy and they decide on a ‘beer and hot-dog’competition,it’s crystal clear that sharing is out of the question. However, this curious competition push  into the background because there is a strong fight in the bar and ‘The Boss’ (John Sharp) and his ganster men interrupt there. After that,Hill and Ben struggle together versus ‘The Boss’ in order to save for the Ganster’s purpose.

The performances and script are no doubt the tip of the iceberg, but I’d highly recommend this movie for its priceless funny scenes.Last but not least,But Spencer and Terence Hill will be always in our hearts....When the bad guys get mad,the good guys get mad and everything gets madder and madder and madder!

SCHINDLER’S LIST : A story of courage that the world needs now more than ever

Around history, there are a plenty of dramatic facts.Wars, murders, nuclear atacks.Yet,the Nazi Holocaust  was something difficult to forget.Thousand of inocent people suffered and were killed unfairless.Nowadays, this horrible crime still doesn’t have an explication. We are in a advance society and I hope,at least that some radical governments had learned about this masacre and it will never happen again.Needless to say that Steven Spielberg masterfully showed this drama in his film.

Schindler’s List is a historical and drama film. This American blockbuster was directed by Steven Spielberg and written by Steven Zaillian in 1993.This movie is based on a novel Schindler’s Ark which was written by Thomas Keneally.Schindler’s List was shoot in black and white and a as a documentary.According to the director, this one was due to create a sense of timelessness. There is not doubt that its success was complete. Not only received it countless awards, especially twelve Academy awards nominations winning six of them, but also it was recognised all over the world.Furthermore,Schindler’s List is on the list of the 100 best American films of all time, and it is considered as a culturally, historically and aesthetically significant by the Library Congress. To Spielberg, this film was a turning point. We were getting used to seeing them directing fantastic and adventure films but Schinder’s List was totally different. In Fact, after presentation,Spielberg said that ‘I was hit in the face with my personal life.Jewish life came pouring back into my heart.I cried all the time’

During II World War,the Nazis force to Polish Jews to live in a ghetto.Oskar Schindler,a German Nazi party member, arrives in the city to achieve a huge fortune in his business. To work,he hires Jews workers because his salaries are lower.Yet,the situation changed when Amon Goth ,second lieutenant, arrives in Poland. He decides to eliminate he Guetto, and send Jews to the death camp and the rest will be killed.Schindler is affected by this massacre.Despite he has a good relationship with Goth,he considered that this brutalize must be finished.Schindler’s first idea shifts from making money to trying to save as lives as possible.

Steven Spielberg’s triumphant Schindler’s List is a remarkable and moving memorial to an historical Holocaust. It is also a timely reminder of what genocide and ‘ethnic cleansing’really mean.It is absolutely clear that it is a masterpiece.

…Power is when we have every justification to kill - and we don’t.

GHOST : Beyond love

Do you believe in true love? Today is San Valentin's day,it is supposed to be a cheerful and pretty day.On the one hand,in this day and age,we come across many people who tend to think that having a couple is an old-fashion way of living. On the other hand,it's fair to point out that there are some lovers which are beyond,be it suffering relevant matters or living separately, but they are in love more than ever before.Sam and Molly,in Ghost, are a perfect example that love is always off the chart.

Ghost is an American romantic film.It was directed by Jerry Zucker and written by Bruce Joel Rubin. To be honest, its cast could be one of my favourite ones,Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore were always engrossing actors.Besides, the role of Whoopi Goldberg is extremely hair-raising.

It is pivotal that I be underlined to its five nominations of an Academy Award,as a result Ghost win for Goldberg and its screenplay.

Sam (Patrick Swayze) and Molly (Demi Moore) live happy in New York.Sam is a businessman and Molly works as a sculptor.Their daily life is a planty of dreams and love, however, one day the couple goes through an attack which a mugger shoots and kills Sam.The horror fact could be the last moment together, yet Sam realizes that he is a ghost and he can interact with Molly in the mortal world. After that,Sam meets Oda Mae Brown (Whoopie Golberg) a fake medium who wants to help Molly to hear Sam.Oda Mae ends up helping her more than Sam could know.

In essence,I believe that 'Ghost' phenomenal cast, screenplay and costume and production design succeed in making a ''universal'' example and a refined conception of love, liable to appeal many generations to come.

....I love you,I really love you....Ditto.

DUMB AND DUMBER: Oh look,frost!

'When the going gets rough, the tough gets going'.To be honest, the beginning of this 2021 is being the hardest that I’ve imagined. Some troubles and relevant healthy matters make me so difficult to keep in calm. What's more,I'm losing my ilusion over my favourite pastimes. For that reason,I'll try to change it with at least a smile. It's crystal clear that Dumb and Dumber is not a blockbuster, not even the best comedy film you have never watched, but it is true that when you watch it you will have a whale of a time.

Dumb and Dumber is an American comedy film.It was directed by Peter Farrely in 1994.In the short term, its main actors,Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels, augur a most successful due to the fact they were well-known comedian, however in the long term this film was considered to be an unforgettable movie.Besides, this film had an animated TV series, and two sequels in 2003 and 2014.I can't help saying that Dumb and Dumber was a turning point in Jim Carrey's career.

Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey) and Harry Dunne (Jeff Daniels) are best friends and they live together in a tiny flat in Providence (Rhode Island). To get started,Lloyd works as a limousine driver. One day,he meets Mary Swanson (Lauren Holly) while he is driving to the airport.Lloyd falls in love with the pretty woman who leaves her suitcase in the terminal.Lloyd realizes about that omission. However, this fact is not easy and Lloyd, with Harry helps, travels to Aspen in order to return it to her.The Lloyd and Harry's trip is a complete mess, but they don't know is the case was intentionally forgotten.

Although some of more carping critics have slated the film's untangled nature,it remains true that few directors offer a large amount of laughters as Dumb and Dumber. For its original jokes, unforgettable cast and originality.I'm sure it will long be remembered as a clasic piece of comedy.

.....For Harry and Lloyd every day is a no-brainer.

SOUL : Don't miss out on the joys of life

"All our dreams can come true if we the courage to pursue them" as Walt Disney said. From my point of view,it's absolutely essential to have a dream, writing a book, playing an instrument, buying your our house or why not? To become happy. They are supposed to be difficult goals to achive, although it's sure we find obstacles along our way,we should struggle every day to get it.It's fair to point out that Joe Gardner,in Soul, never forgets his dream.

Soul is an American animated film.Last December 25,Soul was released to stream on Disney+ although its premiere was in London on October 11,2020.This amazing film has received numerous positive reviews. They emphasize that it is a great animation film, but especially its unforgettable ending message. This film was produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures.Last but not least, the voices of some starts such as Jamie Foxx,Tina Fey,Graham Norton along others makes this film a blockbuster on this trendy streaming app.

Apparently,Joe Gardner lives a quiet life. His job as music teacher at a middle school in New York, and playing piano make his life almost full.Yet,not all that glitters is gold in Joe's life. The music teacher dreams of a career in jazz.Joe struggle to achieve it,and one day he has an opportunity to show his talent in an audition.Joe impresses to Dorothe William,a jazz legend who offers a chance to perform later that night. This day is the best one in Joe's life, however his happiness change when he goes through an accident. At that moment, his soul resists to forget his anxious dream.

All in all,I would no doubt recommend Soul both to anyone is fond of animated films, like young audiences tend to be,and to adults as well since not only does it have an innovative argument and a witty screenplay, but also a thought-provoking approach regarding the meaning of life and our dreams

.....Life is full of possibilities. You just need to know where to look.

THE FAMILY MAN: What if.....

It is a truth universally acknowledged that we have a highly stressful life.In this day and age,It is of the utmost importance that we achieve the best job,a successful career along with a relevant social life is the key. This fact,in some situations, makes us steer clear which is truly worth it in our personal life,as a result you could miss to form a family or a love. For that,I'm wondering...How might your life have been if you had made different decision earlier in your life?

The Family Man is an American comedy-drama.This rom-com was directed by Brett Ratner, although I cannot get away from the fact that this original idea was caming up by David Diamond and David Weissman in 2000.Thus,I consider Nicolas Cage to be the essential point in this film.At first glance, this well-known actor plays a great performance. What's more,Nicolas Cage's production company helped produce the film.

Since Jack (Nicolas Cage) and Kate (Tea Leoni) studied together at college, there they were supposed to deeply in love. One day,Jack decided to change his life in order to promote his bright career, although as a result he had to split this love.Thirteen years later,Jack is considered a successful executive in New York. However, all this carefree life changed when Jack was implicated in a robbery. After this night,Jack woke up in a different house, but surprinsing living with Kate and their two children. He was profound shocked about that, his life as a bachelor had totally changed to a familiar life,in that moment Jack realized that his past decision might be a blunder although this situation will give a second chance. Now,the question is .....would Jack sooner back his past life?.

I'd highly recommend this film, both to teens and adults, and I'm sure it will be enjoyed by many generations, above all to we really appreciate family love, that is.

.....You made different choices?  You said yes instead of no? You got a second chance?

THE POLAR EXPRESS: Train ride

It's a well-known fact that this Christmas will be totally different due to our global situation. It's fair to point out that children go through this situation, they couldn't celebrate their traditional Christmas, visiting their grandparents or playing with their friends. For these reasons, this Christmas should be amazing for them and under no circumstances should we avoid that they won't become skeptical of the existence of Santa Claus as a consequence loosing the Christmas spirit, like the boy (the Hero-boy) happens in Polar Express.

The Polar Express is an animated American film.It is directed and co-written by Robert Zemeckis in 2004.This engrossing film is based on the children's book which was written by Chris Van Allsburg. One particular strength of the film is a motion capture animation, which was a turning point in this movie genre and above all the Tom Hanks role, not only was one of the film's producers, but also played multiple roles in this film.According to some expects, its weakness was a huge budget and they considered a drippy and tedious film.Last but not least,The Polar Express was released in popular theaters in different cities.

The night of Christmas Eve,it's time to get together with your nearest and dearests, into the Hero-boy's family organize the traditional things for Christmas. Thus, not all that glitters is gold because the Hero-boy is not glad, and he is really reluctant about Christmas and mainly Santa Claus.During midnight,he hears a strong noise close his room.He fell exaushed about this situation when he realizes that there is a magic train outside. When the boy be close to the train, the conductor introduces the train as the Polar Express, which its destination is the North Pole to visit Santa Claus, and invites to the boy to jumps on there.Firstly, the boy rejects the offer, although finally he decides to travel. The boy joins several children who tell him their uniques stories. It's crystal clear that The Polar Express has a mean goal : return Chistmassy feeling for children.

The Polar Express is an important and thoughtful Christmas feeling, which reminds us an outright lesson from childhood. Also worth saying,Hanks' five roles are mesmerizing. For all this,I absolutely recommend and cherished this unforgettable movie.

.....The thing about trains....it doesn't matter where they're going. What matters is deciding to get on.
