THE MASK : Jim Carrey's show

This film review is dedicated to Marcos Pastor,my nephew

Do you like Jim Carrey? Maybe,Jim Carrey is the typical actor who you love or hate.However,there is not doubt that this famous comic actor has numerous blockbusters,like Ace Ventura,Dumb and Dumper or The Truman show,but The Mask is one of my favourite ....and from Marcos too.

This fantasy and comedy movie is directed by Cruck Russeland it is based on the comic with the same name.This fun film was released in 1994,and it was received some important mentions ,apar of a nomination of Golder globe by Jim Carrey and the fiim was nominated in Academy Awards for the Best Visual Effects,neverthless it lost to Forrest Gump.Regarding cast,There are some film starts like Peter Green,Amy Yesberk and Cameron Diaz in her film debut.
Like a curiosity,firstly the film would become a horror movie,the first proyect was devided to the line of as a Freddy Kruegen sequels.In 2005,it was released The Son of the Mask.

To begin accidentaly inside to a cofre the magic Mask appears,after that it is sent to the city.On the other side,in Edge City,Stanley Ipkiss (Jim Carrey) is a shy and sad banker with a unlucky life,who always ridiculated for the rest.One day he meets Tina Carlyle (Cameron Diaz) who is thinking about to steal that bank,however Stanley is attracted to Tina,and seems to reciprocate.
Surprisingly,Stanley finds a wooden magic mask and placing it on his face transforms him into a bizarre, known as the Mask,who is able to cartoonishly after himself.So,his behaiviour changed,and our heroe has a power to attack to people who ridiculated before,and he uses to combat ill-treatment.

I strongly recommend this amazing film not only for its entertaining plot but also for the mistery of  Jim Carrey each scene.Besides,its dance scenes (Coco Bongo,Cuba Pete..)and its songs are unforgettable.Given all facts I set forth … is definitely a must-watch film!!

GREASE : The best musical

Do you like musical films?

In today's world,many people claim that musical films are boring,however we can find numerous of these film genre which are unforgettable,like West Side Story or The Sound of Music,but my favourite is Grease.Nowadays,we are celebrated its 40 years aniversary.

This amazing film is mainly known by their main character couple who are Jhon Travolta (Danny Zuco) and Olivia Newton-John (Sandy Olsson).Grease was successful both critically and commercially.It received an award in the People Choice Awards in 1978 and some nomination of Golden Globe.What's more,their soundtarck received countless awards and a nomination for Academy Awards (Which lose by Donna Summer),After Grease,there was Grease 2 which didn't have the same success (interpreted by Michelle Pfeiffer and Maxwll Caulfield).

1978,Summer nights (it is one of its most famous songs),so its beginning of this romantic film,a young couple meet during thier summer and they have a relationship.
Neverthless,this changed when their summer finished.Sandy started in a Rydell high school,where surprisingly Danny is studying.There,Danny has behavior and he is look like totally different than a guy which Sandy knew during their passionate summer,after that the film is a plenty of musical,romantic and funny scenes from these couple and the rest of characters.Where Danny struggle to recover the love of Sandy.     
Danny gets together with his fellow gang members,the famous T-Birds,of whom his best friend Knickie,along Doody,Sonny and Putzie are members.On the other side,Sandy meets a Frenchi who introduces her to The Pink ladies,another famous girl band (its members are Rizzo,Marty and Jan,and own Frenchi).

As far as I'm concerned this movie is great.It is the typical film which you can't let to watch again and again.Needless to say that Grease is from both children and adults.To sum up,I love it because the plot is so gripping and absolutely catching.
For these reasons I would recommend Grease,although I'm sure you had ever watched it.
